OK, so, a summary of my weekend.

Let me start out by saying that no matter how determined one is to flip fate the bird, fate usually wins. Not that it's a bad thing. Just sayin'.

Unfortunately, you will most likely not be meeting Bill (my boyfriend). You will most likely be meeting my friend Brian (who is like a big brother to me). You will meet Bill at Thanksgiving time (provided that you are around).

I occasionally take Brian to Wisconsin with me in Bill's stead, as he loves hanging out at the lake and sailing and it gives Bill the option to not drive the 600 mile round-trip to Wisconsin on top of the 600 mile round-trip to Mpls that he does one weekend every month.
