Lovely.

I've been wanting to read Spencer/Ryan lately, and this was just exactly the right thing for that craving. You display such a wonderful touch for portraying the different relationships between the characters; every friendship or relationship has its own distinct feel that rings true with your plot. The Pete/Ryan in particular just made me ache because it was clear that there'd been promise there, that there could have been an amazing friendship until things got twisted and went wrong.
And OH, but I am floored by what you did with Ashlee. Yes, she was defensive and bitchy, but THEN she was crumbling and sympathetic and I felt bad for her and hoped for the best for her.
There were so many parts that made my heart clench, chief among them Brendon coming to Spencer and Ryan after he kissed Jon and thought he'd ruined everything. OH MY HEART! Brendon being sad makes me sad, too. It's like, a rule!
I really immensely enjoyed this. I love a fic that takes me on an emotional ride, and this one did that wonderfully. Amazing
