Huzzah!! Thanks for the walk-thru and the advice... gotta love LJ ;)
... and btw: thoroughly appreciated every detailed bit of concrit on the beta; whenever I do one, I also use the same fine-toothed comb I'd use on my own work, so no worries. Thanks again, love xo
You know, I checked, and your last non-fic post did show up on my flist page. I've had several people comment that they missed my fic when it posted and didn't find it until they were looking at the sparrabeth comm. I guess I'll just have to try and watch everybody's fic posts and see if things are showing up on the comms and not my friend's page. Danged LJ.
Oh, this is lovely! I can't wait for more to come. You've got all of the characters and their individual nuances and quirks down just right. I especially love Teague. He was left so open in the film that I couldn't help but build him up and up in my mind and you've crafted a nearly perfect version of what I thought him to be in your fic, here.
But yes, beautiful work, love. I'll be haunting your journal, waiting for more!
Wow, thank you!! I am so pleased that you are enjoying this so far -- thank you for such a lovely comment :)

I love him, as well, and I'm very happy that my take on him rings true with you. Happy Haunting!
I just discovered this story and couldn't stop reading until I had finished the latest chapter. Your characters are spot on, especially Jack and Will whose voices ring absolutely true to me. I was happy to see Barbossa and Teague made it into this story as well. Barbossa is such a fantastic villain and I thoroughly enjoyed his interaction with Will in the chapter above.
More generally speaking, I really like what you came up with for Elizabeth. I can totally see her residing at Shipwreck City with Teague as her friend and confidant. The chapter in which she woke up and immediately realized that he must be Jack's father was just gorgeous!
It's great to see someone's finally using the FoY-plotline to create new conflict and adventure. With this chapter, you've set up a rather interesting constellation, with both Jack and Barbossa looking for the FoY and Will and Elizabeth being pulled into the chase.
I'm already looking forward to read where you'll take this.
Wow, wow, and wow... thank you so much for such amazing thoughts...

This is the greatest compliment -- I am so glad they come across truly.

He is incredible fun to write, and so joyful in his manipulations of others...
It means so much to know that the characters are sounding true and that the plot is unfolding in a way that makes sense, considering I've written this in such piecemeal over the last year... so thank you again for such warm and detailed commentary!! :)
