W00T for rockchickie! Gaim isn't as pretty as Tillian but I'll be damned if I have to pay $25 bucks for Trillian pro just to get my email notifications. The other down side is it's not set to run in the background. The next free trillian will likely check hotmail so when that comes out I can switch ^_

I used trillian for about a week, until I realized it won't even connect my yahoo accounts. Stupid trillian. And I'm not paying for it either. *shakes fist*

*cheer* I think you can get it to run in the background if you fiddle with it a bit. Or there's a plugin. Or something.

I don't remember much S2 customization stuff but have you tried s2styles?
