This had to be shared. I'm watching one of those "when fucking morons run from the cops" shows. This guy cliped a pickup, cut off a school bus and nearly hit untold numbers of other cars. His excuse upon capture?
"I have a little puppy at home. I just wanted to get home and take care of it."  -BOGGLE-I was right about the strike getting settled but

Those psychology classes sound really interesting, though. *contemplates a career in psych*

I considered psych before but you really need to get a doctorate to make it worth your time. I'm minoring in it which is a lot nicer. I just need intro and 4 electives. Good times.

Even a doctorate might not even be worth your time. I'm taking Abnormal Child Psych and the prof basically shattered some people's dreams and told the class just get their Masters instead...similar pay, can still be certified and less time in school. She had this whole thing on how a PhD doesn't really get you anywhere anymore.

Yeah, unless you have asperations to teach or work in a metro area. The metro will respect the Dr. With a Masters you could only teach in a community college or part time at a university which is a crappy paycheck. It's all about what you want to do with the degree. v_v
