HORROR CHALLENGE

take the horror challenge

Ok, I'm gonna do it. It's 100 horror films in 31 days, my brain may implode but it might be fun. Plus it will give me an excuse to watch some films I've been putting off. The only challenge will be staying up all night watching these movies and then in the morning going to teach preschoolers.

So, any suggestions out there? ( Read more... )

Recently heard of a film you should watch: Cannibal Holocaust. Look it up... Though, technically it's more exploitation/grindhouse than traditional horror. But I still think you should watch it.

Well, to entice you, they kill 4 or 5 real animals on screen (leading to it's being banned in many countries) and at one point tear apart a living sea turtle and the actors then actually roasted the flesh and ate it on film. Also, due to the murder scenes, and the way the movie is portrayed, the director had to bring the actors before the court and a judge to prove he did not kill them on screen.

In other words, what more could you ask for? lol

oh yeah it's one of the most banned films around. I'm not very into animal killings but if you want to see some good 70s italian cannibal films you're gonna see some animal deaths...that's just how it goes.

I may get so desperate I watch that Crispin Glover "What is it?" movie and we'll finally know what the fuck is up with it

The third one is actually the best out of them all. Oddly enough.

And I know? Isn't she? Juno is so my thinner knocked up alternate self.

Juno is my dream woman. Or maybe Ellen Page is since she wears boys underwear.

Out of the first two I really liked the 2nd one. It was awesome and then the ending was random as all fuck. I'll for sure check out the third one, I need all the movies I can get
