That was... great(despite the Kuwabara/Kurama implication, which is a pairing I'm still not really sold on, yet~). xD It was the lol.

Especially since the pairing was subtle, and Kurama and Kuwabara would really be the only ones to pair up on a team~ Hiei and Kuwabara wouldn't fare as well, I'd think. Kuwabara and Yuusuke can get away with teaming up, though. Ehehe~

That was lovely. Rough-and-tumble, boys-will-be-boys sort of feeling to it(and the 'cheating' at the end was great, especially since Hiei said 'any team I'm on will win'. xDDD Ahahaha.)

Man, spend enough time around me and I will sell you on Kurama/Kuwabara - I have no doubts.

Honestly, I know next to nothing about football (despite the fact that my father played in college), but I do know about those funny contests teenage boys have in parks or on just about any open spot of grass, so it just seemed easier to write it like that.

I'm really glad you liked it - I had a lot of fun writing it.

It feels like you had fun writing it~~ When I'm angsty enough I'll tackle(ha, ha, look a football pun ftw) that fic where Kuwabara tricks Kurama into killing him, and when it's bounced around in my head long enough I'll likely get to the random!angry!threesome fic. xDDD But for now, I'm relishing having the time to get 'Second Try's plot going along~ Writing chapter thirteen was so much fun, and I've already started the next one~~ Ehehehe. :: Evil mind. ::

But, nyes. I know NOTHING about football(let's not get started on how they once passed me the ball in flag football, in high school and I ran for a bit then threw it[forward] because everyone was coming at me and then they all stopped and I felt like an idiot. ;.;).

But this was quite fun(especially since Kurama and Hiei were beating the pants off of Yuusuke and Kuwabara before they switched the teams xDDDDD! x3~). ;3
