1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate? Either is fine - put brandy in my eggnog and peppermint schnapps in my hot chocolate and I am happy
2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? Yes, in Barbie Christmas paper
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? None, one of the kiddie cats eats through electrical wires left out .
4. Do you hang mistletoe? Nope, I kiss my hubby when ever I want, and I have no desire to kiss anyone else.
5. When do you put your decorations up? Weekend after Thanksgiving
6. What is your favorite holiday dish? Growing up we had pasta for Christmas dinner, I miss that, as my sauce is never as good as my Mom’s
7. Favorite Holiday Memory as a child? Leaving cookies and beer for Santa ( my Dad always told us by the time he got to our house he was tired of Milk and wanted something better LOL)
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? I was 10, in the 5th grade and Nancy Harmond told me. But as my brother was only 4, I had fun knowing a secret that he didn’t.
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? Just one, then we save the rest for Christmas morning.
10. What kind of cookies does Santa get set out for him? Oatmeal raisin, cause we all know they were his favorite and they go with beer.
11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? Please do not use the “S" word around me.
12. Can you ice skate? Absolutely not. I like all of my bones intact.
13. Do you remember your favorite gift? tie:First Christmas with Hubby, he gave me a diamond bracelet. It could have been a rock bracelet, it was the first real gift he gave me and I loved it! Last year, when I got a real gift from the heart from my best friend who made me my very own collection of Christmas CD's which include Johnny Mathis and is currently playing in my car.
14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you? Family and friends
15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? As long as it has chocolate in it, they are all my favorite
16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? Stocking stuffers, we have a tradition that all items put into the stockings have to be part of a theme. My parents did this when we were little, and my hubby and I do it now.
17. What tops your tree? No tree, have cats, 2 of which will climb anything they can.
18. Which do you prefer Giving or Receiving? Both
19. What is your favorite Christmas Carol? Have yourself a merry little Christmas as sung by Johnny Mathis
20. Candy Canes..Yuck or Yum? Yummy! And can be strategically formed to make weapons against little brothers and Nancy Harmond
