The conspiracy of 2009

Okay, the topic of this post is THE AWESOME AP ISSUES WITH MCR ON THE FRONT, AND THE CONSPIRACY SURROUNDING THEM!

{clears throat} Okay, here we go... So, I knew that there were three different covers that I needed to get. And yes, I know I'm leaving out of this update the events of my Thanksgiving or the fact that my dad came to visit me, but just, forget that.... :D Anyway, I knew that I needed to get the issues with Bob, Frank and Ray. I need to get Bobbeh and Frankie for one of my bestest buddies ever, cherry_road . They are her faves and I really wanted to send them to her for Christmas. And of course, I wanted to get Mr. Toro for myself because, let's face it, I deserve to get something out of MCR being on AP... ^.^

So the whole hunt for the AP magazines started last Friday. I just happened to go to Barnes and Noble with my Dad, my Grandma, my half brother, and my stepmom. So I went in and was all happy because I thought I had a pretty good chance, boy was I wrong. I went up to the magazine section, my hands sweating from my gloves, only to find that they still had the AFI AP's up. This obviously made my day a little crappy because that was the only thing getting me through the torture of being with people that I really don't like that much.... {coughcough} Well, some of them that I don't like...

Before I was aware, Sunday rolled around. I somehow found a way to convince my mom to take me to Dayton, which is like 50 miles from where we live. So on our way we stopped a the semi-local Kroger's and popped in to look at the magazines. To my sheer horror they only had the ones I didn't need, which obviously were the Way brothers. Now, don't get me wrong, I love them, but they weren't what I was looking for.

After this minor set back my mom and I continued on to Dayton. First we stopped at Boarders. I go into the store and look for the magazine section, to my happiness I find that they do in fact have the MCR issues of AP. Happily, I begin to flip through them. The upsetting thing is that as I'm flipping through I see about four Gerards, three Mikeys, two Franks, two Bob's, and zero Rays. That's right. Zero. Glad to have found two that I needed for cherry_road I snatched them up and after paying, we left.

We continued on our journey, my mom and I splitting up at the mall. I went into the Guitar Center to search their magazines, and [surprisingly] they still had the AFI issues. So, not worrying too much I went to play some keyboards and happily browse through the expensive guitars. I played a few very nice acoustic Gibsons before my mom and I left to go check out the B&N.

This being the second time I've been to B&N that week, I assumed that they would finally have the MCR issues up. Oh, how I was wrong. Upon going to the magazines I once again saw AFI's little eyes staring at me over the magazine rack. And, of course this made me a little upset, so trying to think happy thoughts I went to ask an employee. He bluntly told me that if the new issue wasn't up then that meant that they didn't have it. A little worried, I left the store.

My mom and I then started going home, but we just happened to stop at another Kroger's to look, plus we needed tissues. So, we collect the tissues, some frozen pizza to eat for dinner, and some root beer to drink, before heading to the magazine section. Nervously I leaved through the MCR issues of AP. And of course they didn't have Ray either. At this point I leaned over and started laughing. I have no idea why I laughed, it seems kind of silly now, but that's what happened at the time.... Defeated, I left the store to return home.

Now, that's not the end of the story. The story continues. After consulting cherry_road with my problems, she promptly decided to ask her mom, who works at a Krogers if she's seen any Ray AP issues. Yesterday through emails, I was informed that there were no Ray AP issues. Now, by this I'm very puzzled, but to make things worse I over read some tweets [I hate calling them tweets] that Ray tweeted and Ray replied to a girl who said that she couldn't find any Ray issues either, by saying that they were probably sold out because he looked super handsome that day.... hehe.

And just today, I questioned a few people on INO who promptly told me that they hadn't seen any Ray issues either. And it was two different people, which is really weird. All of this leads me to a few thoughts. WHAT THE HECK, is my first thought. My little brain can not understand why no one has seen any Ray issues. You'd think, [no offense to Ray of course] that there would be quite a few of them, due to the fact that Ray's following is slightly smaller than the other members. It also makes me wonder if the is the conspiracy for '09. And where are all of those magazines that seem to have just been plucked from thin air. It's just so weird...

If anyone knows anything about this odd occurrence, they should probably let me know...
