Heading out from jrising's place this morning, you missed the most incredible display of waving arms and legs, punctuated by my typical yelping sound effects, as I somehow managed to slip and slide my way down the front stairs and hit bottom still upright. Then, plodding through the snow to my car, just wanting to get my snow boots out of there and on my feet before my socks got soaked (my sneakers were already a lost cause), I arrived at the car and promptly managed to slip and fall full-body into the snow.

as the snow arrived on Thursday (after 2 ice storms recently), lots of parents were picking up kids from daycare, so I parked on the lawn instead of the driveway. and promptly slipped and fell flat on my ass. luckily, there's a generous amount of padding back there, so I survived ok.
