See, I have quite a predicament, one could say.

Before arriving in this world a couple months ago, I was dead. Deader than dead. I had been dead for sixteen years. I died protecting ... someone important to me.

Of course, how I died isn't the point here

My apologies for the intrusion, Miss, but I am in a similar situation to yours. I died at age eleven and when I came to in this world it felt like no time had passed. However, my little brother is from a time two years after my death (we are now, in fact, the same age) and by the count of an old friend of mine, I should have turned sixteen this year.

That said, I would still tell people I'm eleven. I haven't been alive any longer than that, and I don't feel any older.
