I'm terrible at remembering my Greek mythos and even I know Icarus bit it hard. Well, Nintendo does have a classic called "Kid Icarus" so I guess it's in that vein of forgoing accuracy?

Never mind that the idiot who scorched the earth with the sun and died for it was Phaeton, yonder random mortal son of Apollo. SDKHsf, sorry, I'm still a bit ranty over it. ._. So many liberties taken... I'm generally only good enough at remembering it to string out a what-should-be five minutes summary for my parents of only some of the Labours of Heracles to a good fifteen minutes. (Which was mostly me not remembering who the people with the Golden Apples were.)
I suppose, but even then he's called Pit, isn't he? The resemblance kind of ends at a winged boy and the title. Although I've gleaned most of my info in that respect from Smash Bros. Brawl. XD
YAAAAR. The only one who really seems bothered about it, except maybe the tvtropes people, is me. XDD The Shin Megami Tensei games are really cool that way, like even with random Celtic Mythology and whatnot, even if the appearence of the demons and personas and stuff is played with a bit. But with Jack Frost, it's really too cute for me to care, hehe. Oh, and Okami is awesome, too! It's like the difference between knowing what you're talking about and changing it in interesting ways, instead of doing whatever-the-hell because you couldn't care less. :3
Well, if I knew stuff about something like that I'm annoying people with OH HEY, YOU KNOW ACTUALLY THAT PERSON IS SUPPOSED TO--blahblahblah. Just doesn't happen often, since... I'm rather uneducated? lmao. So it's cool~ \o/
It would be lame if they don't change anything and just copy from given things, don't you think? Jack Frost is almost too cute for me. I. There're so many other awesome Persona, so I never really used him?

I'm not that knowledgeable, really! I mean, until about a month ago, the only source of information about greek mythology (at the least) was an Usborne kid's book about it I've had since I was small, and random bits and pieces I managed to pick up. I knew enough that huge inconsistencies and whatnot throw me for a loop, though. XD
Ice Age 3:Dawn of the Dinosaurs! Which [i]genius[/i] thought that up, I'd like to know. I'll probably have to explain why it makes no sense to the kids I babysit next time I look after them... ._. Uuuuuuuu...
I'm back! Ehh, there's not much more to say about that, it's basically all done and dusted.
