well, I'm about to get into a fight with mom. Yesterday afternoon, I ran into Mark. Turns out he's a bastard, but that's beside the point. He was about to go dump two domestic cats in the woods. That just isn't kosher, so I took them instead. They're currently hanging out in the garage. I called mom to ask her if she knew of any no-kill shelters

Perhaps you can persuade Laura to take them now and tend to them until she heads to Lexington Saturday?

She can't. These guys have the fleas, so they can't come inside, and she lives right next to a busy road. Mom is done fit pitching though, so we're all good.

o.o You've got to be fucking kidding me? She'll take Jack in right away but freaks out about having two cats there for only two days? Is you're mom bipolar as well, by chance? o.O I'd just try and keep them the two days then take them to Lexington. o.o
