But I also found the view into his mind fascinating - and awfully sad. He thinks he is privileged, elite; but it's hard to imagine someone more pitiably ignorant and isolated. There's a howling, sucking void where his soul should be and he doesn't even know that. I can't help feeling sorry for him. Maybe the shitstorm over his self-indulgently murderous comments will start to kick open a little door of awareness? I do hope so.

Johann: So you have no statistics. You urge people to starve themselves and say it’s safe with no facts and no statistics.
Kenneth: I think if, um, ten out of ten people listen to me with my views on managing anorexia, ten out of ten people will lose a lot of weight.
Johann: That’s not a statistic. You just made that up.
