Hey everyone - don't forget to vote today!

(The correct answer is "YES to AV". Based on their adverts, the No campaign clearly think that people are too thick to understand how to number their candiates in order of preference. You don't necessarily need the polling card - that's just for info. As long as you're on the register(?), you just have to give your name.

Aye, I'm looking forwards to voting yes late! However, I must say that I can see why certain people will vote no- and vote no honestly, not just because they "don't understand it". It also annoys me this whole "oh AV is just soooo complicated" thing- utter bollocks! I am not very politically minded and yet understand how it works. I also understand whose votes it will work FOR and whose votes it might work against. I was really annoyed to see on facebook this morning someone asking "so what IS this AV thing?". WTF? We're voting on it TODAY and you haven't even looked it up?! I respect people who vote against AV because they don't agree with it, or they see how it would work against the party or system they would like to vote for. However, I refuse to respect anyone voting against (or for-but less likely) AV who doesn't actually know what it is, and is voting against it on principle!
