I finally watched Heroes S2, and I was less than moved by it. I loved the Claire moments, but there wasn't enough Sylar, and WAY too much Matt. Hiro's arc bored me to tears. The new characters were... boring

I just had a thought regarding Michael's tolerance for pain and how if they do it right, maybe there can be some thematic messages in his getting the tats removed--like he's trying to erase what caused Sara's *death.*
I love in the S2 finale commentary when Paul Adelstein asks if it seems like Michael wants to be punished because he takes the fall for Sara there, and I've always thought there was some truth to that. He's got a Savior complex for sure, and the idea is the Savior took our pain, so it makes sense on many levels. Hmmm.

His psych did say he was more interested in helping others than himself.
I really enjoy the commentary on S2... Paul, William & Reggie especially.
