LJ, why are you not giving me my email notifications? Or is Yahoo to blame? Stop being stingy, and give me my emails dammit!
Can I just say how much I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE The Mentalist. More about it under the cut. And, Survivor Gabon, I love you too! You were hilarious last week.
As for you Prison Break, I have a few things to say...
The Mentalist
Cho, you are simply magnificent. Your facial expressions make me smile. You interrogate like no other. I look forward to your cynicism and sarcasm every week. Never change.
Patrick was so adorable with the baby. You can tell that Simon has and loves children. He's so natural with them.
I have a feeling that something might happen between Patrick and Van Pelt. Lisbon has put up this impenetrable wall that will take forever to break down. On the flip side, Van Pelt is more open to Patrick's quirks. They bicker, but they also communicate on a more intimate level. She saw his vulnerable side last week. Tonight he gives her advice, and she uses it. Add to that... Rigsby has no game WHATSOEVER, and cannot make a move to save his life.
This show does make it easy to pick out the killer(s) though. A little too obvious. Regardless, I still enjoy how the team works together.
Prison Break
Rapaport played the bumbling agent brilliantly. They way Self turned on a dime and shot Trishanne was chilling. The colour evaporated from his face and you could see his mood and demenour change. Very shocking turn of events. I do wish that PB wouldn't turn every agent into a bad guy, though.
I loved the Sara and Lisa scene. I wouldn't want Sara holding a gun on me. She was very convincing. I knew Sara wouldn't shoot Lisa (who I assumed was another one of the General's ladies... his daughter? Wow!). But, if threatened Sara would have protected herself.
Favourite Scene: the General surrounded by all those bad men in his office. I loved that they all got to take jabs at the old guy. Mahone saying "get away from me" and literally pushing the General away. Lincoln threatening to blow his head off if he dared mentioned anyone he loved. Sucre drinking his Scotch and later telling him to "suck it". Michael getting angry because this man had the audacity to promise anything for him and Sara. And, then The List is revealed. I almost wish Sara could have been in there to take her turn. I guess the ear full to Lisa was good enough.
Did the General say that Aldo was an assassin to mess with the Brothers, or are TPTB conveniently changing another backstory? It's not difficult to believe Aldo might have been, seeing as he killed Michael's foster father. But, why would Aldo tell Linc he's an analyst? Why admit being anything at all, if you're really a killer? I'm confused.
So, they're on the run... AGAIN. Hope we see LJ and Sofia soon.
