Yeah, I really can't add anything about the Korina auf. She should have known better to just keep her mouth shut and let her fury show in her face (but not the clothes!), and clearly the edit worked around the internet as I read all kinds of comments on a variety of blogs about how Char has so much more "character" - well, good for her, but I only care if the clothes have character and clearly Korina's are the pageant winner there. Ugh, it's just crappy business.
I really adored Amanda and Kini's black-skirted outfit, so I'm totally with you there. And I love Christian so much. Such a relief to have a designer judge on board.
Um, is Christian in charge of the kids PR show? Because I was all kinds of No Way In Hell (I don't watch kids master chef either - kids either bore or annoy me to death) but if CS is judging, I may just check it out.

IDK if he's in charge like as in exec producer-in charge but I'm not a huge fan of those kid's 'reality competition' shows. I LOOOVE creative talented cute funny kids, but in the class room, NOT in a reality competition show.

I am sill flabbergasted at this week's episode. I've never liked Corina, but she has made some really good designs, and she can, you know, actually SEW. She may be a childish bitch, but IMO she was entitled to be furious at the outcome of the runway. She really IS head and shoulders above Char, so I just don't understand how the judges cannot know this? Why isn't Tim telling them that Char cannot sew

It's looking that way, isn't it? I can't really see any reason to keep Char over Corina, who has much more interesting ideas and looks. Yeah, she wasn't great this week, but Char's look was simplistic and boring and that was with Sean helping her. Corina melts down under pressure while Char performs - with help - but still. Tim is NOT coming out looking very good in this one.
It is downright freaking CRUEL to pair those two up next week. I'm not sure I can watch that. As immature as it seems, I too would just walk outI'm not sure if it's immature - scapegoating Char was immature, but once it's out there Corina seems to have the best and most sensible reaction, to keep distance. Meh, Korinna made 2 decent designs. The coat she won with and the blue leather jacket with the black skater dress every thing was just okay. She has exactly been setting the world on fire.
There HAVE to be contestants with style who can sew who'd want the exposure this show affords.
Seriously, this season is going to be more infamous than the Season of Gretchen. Who is there to root for here? Sean of the lampshade? Kini of sew-by-numbers? The dingbatty Amanda? Cliche'd Goth Emily? Or can't sew for shit Char? I couldn't be less interested.
However we see more and more designers having trouble sewing because we have more 1 day challenges
Yes, good point. As for the comparison of the looks, I still think K&E's collection was more interesting in its individual pieces than S2's. AND if anything deserved to get targeted for elimination from K&E, it should have been that dreadful cushion coat Emily sent out. But yes, the collection was definitely all wrong on the accessories.
Instead of challenging that anger into her work, she showed out. Char is being manipulated just as much Korinna. She's getting her emotions jerked around with the whole safe/not safe thing as well. Yep, that is the bottom line. She basically was more interested in lashing out at those she feel wronged her rather than staying focused on her work. Totally doomed her, and I can't say she didn't cut off her nose to spite her face

And, I really hate that Tim picked Char over Fade to get to the top. Fade's looks were better. I know people really like Fäde, but this is incorrect. Tim didn't pick Char over Fäde. That makes it seem like he had to choose between the 2 of them who to save. Tim picked Char. We have no idea whether or not her would have chosen to save Fäde if he hadn't already used his save.
All right, let me rephrase that to make it clearer and not discredit Char so much: I wish Tim had saved his Save so he could have chosen Fade when the time came.
