I think they did pretty well for the time they had, mostly. Patricia's bullet boobs were a bit of a problem, but she always did have a problem with finishing.
I remember Gunnar because of the name, and because he was very whiny.
Yes! I remember absolutely nothing about his fashion, only that name and something about it being much more interesting than him.
Dmitri, though . . . he's still my favorite
Oh, right! I didn't post on Dmitri's look. I'm not really a fan of his.
Maybe the judges minus Heidi will look for fashionable and not just tight and shiny.
Well, given Alyssa's preggers state, tight is right out. And yeah, I really need a break from those judges from last season.
PR All Stars was a breath of almost-fresh-air, after the regular PR. I don’t remember all the designers, but I loved and still love Chris March, though I agree that his designs sometimes disappoint; and I well remember Dmitri and think he is an excellent designer. I disliked Helen (still do) - remember her as being needy and whiny. Justin is memorable as being a nice guy without skill or talent. I hate to think his disability is what keeps him in contention, but I do think it, alas. Shame on me

Yes, I agree! The fashion was fun and that's what people cared about. I also agree with your assessment of the designers, and this made me laugh:
Hee! as for

Shame on us both.
The judging was very good, wasn't it? I love that Chris found inspiration on the street - exactly where you should downtown, just as you should find it uptown in boutique lounges and stepping down brownstown stoops.
IM seems to have criteria for judging beyond "Make it new and don't bore me!" that seemed to be about it for last season. Oh, you've seen him on QVC! He seems like he has a good humor, which is probably why I like him also.
Me too. I had this awesome shiny blue suit dress thing with huge shoulder pads. I went to a "Casino night" thing in it with naturally poofy hair. It was my go-to fabulous Dynasty-inspired clubbing look. Spiked heels, back when I could wear 4" heels. (Okay, now I only wear 3", but *sigh* what a fun time back in the day.)
Justin who was the original Tim Gunn safe back in S12 but for a good reason imo. I think hope he gets better during this season
It's interesting that Tim Gunn saves have not actually won any challenges. What is that? I'm not a fan of Justin - he never did anything good, IMO.
Yep, it looks like it's going to be a good season.
I actually think that after he was saved he was def more focused and more confidant. And I actually LOOOVED his FW collection and esp that final dress that was made with white 'tubes'. It was literally moving. I'm pleased he was brought back to AS.

You did? wow, sounds cool. My most prized possession back then was actually a red and green plaid shirt- that resembled Chris' black and white skirt/kilt. I thought that shirt was sooo cool I even had it on for my high school senior year book photo but then it was 30 years ago ;)
oh and btw- forgot to mention that even though I LOVED Fabio's winning look (I had a similar jumpsuit in the 90's ) I have to agree with Ivanka about the length of the trousers.
Yep, it looks like it's going to be a good season.
I'm so glad you decided to do this sweets. Having your post to come to afterwards truly makes the show more enjoyable.
I do understand it completely, but, I'm really sorry T&L decided to quit their reviews (I mean, really, who can blame them). I only wish I knew about them earlier in my PR watching history.
ETA: thanks for that particular cap of Justin's work. I think even I would have cut the hem of those shorts better than that - how could he not have noticed that point there. Makes you wonder, doesn't it?
OMG HI!! And thanks! Your responses have made this post so very worth it! I love talking about the show afterwards.

Yes, this, so much. I only found them like 2-3 years ago? When did I start doing this? It was very recent, and I think the first season I commented I didn't use any pics at all.

The cool thing about screencapping for the looks is I get to choose what to focus on, such as just the ass-shot for Justin because that really was the most comment-worthy shot of the entire outfit. So, hey, it worked out!

It'd have been interesting to see what Patricia would have done with a couple days.

Fabio is my secret crush and I loved his look. Patricia had a good idea that was poorly executed. Kate missed it by a hair (in my mind)

Hahaha yes! Give it time, I'm sure we'll be screaming bloody murder.
I really wish they'd booted Kate. I love Patricia, she's crazy.
