Project Runway this week

Okay, so last week, the designers went to London and met FERGIE, BABY!!! And had to design coats inspired by Paddington Bear or Paddington Station or something because of course they’re product placing that god-awful movie with the terrible CGI.

Sorry to report my PC died. Cannot cope w tiny Kindle keyboard and auto correct, for extensive comments. May wait till January to get new pc. Don't want laptop, need mega ram for Photoshop.

Liked Sonija & dmitry best, did not like lace mostly because of color.

Note that Fergie is NOT royalty - her title is only courtesy!!! Paddington bear is probably closer to succession than that slutty commoner "duchess."

Sorry to report my PC died.

I have used the appropriate icon for this!! Ugh, that's horrible, but yeah, waiting for the January sales is a good idea.

That outfit, IMO, was cool enough to carry the color - there was something kind of cheeky about using that color. Attitude-wise.

OMG I yelled the SAME thing at the screen when whichever contestant was all, We met royalty! FERGIE IS NOT ROYALTY! She divorced her title! And, yeah, she has always wanted as much publicity as she could get. Maybe if she'd been more focused on her duty to god and country and all, she would STILL be royalty. I know she's all into developing her brand these days - how common.

Fergie is a commoner in every sense of the word!

I'm actually waiting for the Christmas crowds to disperse before pc shopping. Forgot about January sales and those crowds! I should just order from.Dell or QVC, but I'm not sure what to buy. And I'll need the geek squad to come set it up. Ironically my big tv died a couple months ago and I just dread tv shopping too, and I'll need geeks for that as well. I've become so lazy, finding everything a hassle.

I think Dmitry is getting robbed week after week. He should have been the winner.

I though Sonjia's was 'fine' but I kept coming back to how short it was. That was ridiculously short. Flash your goodies to the room the moment you're not standing straight short. Can never sit down in that thing short. Just no.

Back in my skinnier days in my 20's I used to have a skirt that had those hip pop-outs that Michelle used and it was my favourite skirt. I thought it worked.

My bottom three would have been Sam, Helen and Fabio. Oh hell I would have had a bottom four and thrown Justin in there too. Sam's was atrocious and old-fashioned, Helen's was boring and have-seen-on-8000-award-shows, and Justin's was also unflattering and made his teensy skinny model look like a box. But I do agree with you that Fabio should have gone home. Not only was his design boring, but it didn't fit his challenge. There was nothing masquerade about that. Clearly they used past challenges and who they want to see go forward as their criteria. Bluh.

Yep, as you can tell with my comments, I agree.

That does seem to be the consensus elsewhere on the internets. I basically agree, but I'm sure they'll lengthen the skirt for the shoot.

See, yeah, that's the thing. That outfit is definitely for a girl in her 20s who's rockin' the whole 20s attitude. And, yeah, me too re: my 20s. I could, so I did. I think everyone does at that age.

You totally summed up my thoughts re: the bottom. I have no idea how Sam slipped through! The combo fabrics was totally old-fashioned, and then that peplum! And they really let Justin off. I think Isaac should have taken that acid tongue he used on Fabio's outfit and said a few more choice things.

Clearly they used past challenges and who ( ... )

I would have thrown Sam off the runway and out of the building. That was one of the most hideous things I've seen on PR. I shudder every time I look at it. How they could consider her safe is beyond me.

And I'm with Vickie on the win - that dress was ridiculously short. When I think of how many comments the judges have made over the years re 'too short dresses', well... and yet they not only say nothing negative they give it the win *shakes head*.

And I know Michelle adores that color (god knows why - I think it probably looks horrible on her too - has she ever worn it?) but YUK!

I was SO surprised they let that pass. Hideous!! Do you think they judged the obvious work that went into it? Compared to say, Helen's or even Justin's, which were soooo snooze-inducing?

Everyone's slamming Sonjia's short skirt, hee! Okay, okay, I conceded: It should have been longer. And while I agree with the color thing on Michelle's outfit, in the context of her design and overall look, I think it just worked. The parts were all just WRONG but somehow the sum of the parts in a whole really worked.

At first I honestly thought Sonjia was gonna be booted because she got way too much screen time in the beginning of the eo ;)

Just sayin'

Screen time always = win or loss. Sometimes I always assume with the design that it's going to be the latter and then the judges give him/her the win. No clue here. I think I'm the only one who really liked Sonjia's outfit this week.
