As Elise pointed out to me, I figure I should explain what a cracker is...
It is these round colorfully decorated things with prizes inside, that you and another person hold onto and pull apart, whoever has the bigger piece gets the prize. They may include fake moustache and lips and lame jokes, but it is fun!

??? Yeah, it looks like it. It had these little black things that I thought you put in your nose, maybe they hooked to the lips? I'll never know.
