I have spent the last 4 hours on and off again trying to answer the question of why humans acquire language? Is it biologically innate? Social? Environmental? I have bitten every single nail off. I have flipped pages, read and reread Chomsky, Aitchison, and Clark and still know that as much observation that has been done nobody can really prove

you also spent the last 4 hours being introduced (by me of course :)) to billy joel hahaha. and looking up movies on imdb. and having an indepth convo about the wonderfulness (since youre writing on language, ive decided thats now a word!) of david bowie and the labyrinth and willow and christian bale. which for the most part are all unrelated. but thats ok. and in general being as much of a procrastinator as me. :)

Sorry, I don't now. I had no other way beside Lj to tell ya, I posted a while ago that I wasn't sure if it was still happening, you never replied. I got impatient and now I have a different place.
