...and boy was it disappointing. Awesome, but disappointing. (I know I know) I actually beat it on the fourth, but I'm just now getting around to posting about it :)
Everyone already knows that there's multiple endings, right? Well, the percentage points that you accumulate throughout the game determine what ending you'll get. The game is set up so that if you don't do so much as one little thing (like selling a lot of tickets for Tolbi) it won't trigger other events later on in the game and thus, you'll have screwed yourself out of percentage points. And you need 100% to get the "perfect ending." I only got the "good" ending because I was about 5% short.
The game itself, I thought, was really good. It wasn't as good as the other Final Fantasies, but still better than your average good game. When stripped down, it's really just a fun, entertaining game. It's very girly, also, but hey. It's overflowing with sidequests and there's only a few FMV's (but they're really, really long and beautiful ones.)
FFX-2 is for the seriously dedicated gamer who's willing to go EVERYWHERE, talk to EVERYONE and do EVERYTHING that you can over and over and over and over again. Some of the Missions were ridiculously time-consuming (Monkey Love...eurgh) and just plain boring (God forsaken Commspheres). But the game itself is definitely a must. It's good points make up for it's bad.
If anyone wants to know about him, lemme know and I'll tell you!
*Have seen RotK four times! Yay, I cannot wait to go again.
