I had a tooth pulled. Five shots of novacaine one in the tooth, or was it gums? I still can't feel that part of my mouth, mostly, which is making drinking interesting because it's not working with me.
In my teens my dentist wanted to see if it was possible to remove someones wisdom teeth (two one week, two the next) in the dental practice whilst the patient was still awake (instead of going to hospital and being put out) - I was the guinea pig.
One of the worse experiences of my entire life, and then I had to go back the following week and do it all over again.
They decided it was a service they didn't want to offer. :(
Yi~kes! I do have one more to be done. I had to root canal's done and, after time, infections formed under the tooth. So looking at all the options, seeing where those two teeth were located (molars) I decided to have them both removed but uhhh....I think I'll wait a month 'fore they remove the other one. XD
I was not a happy camper when the novacain wore off that first day. Now though I'm mostly fine...well when mom isn't cursing me into biting cantolope with my still healing gum. XD
