It was a dark and stormy night~!

Okay, not really, but it occurs to me that lately my writing has taken an interesting twist. I've been writing a lot of Dark or sexual stuff (or both) and I have no idea why. I try and write fluff and all I do is draw a blank.

This includes a story I recently started which I totally blame on jinx1764 I had just finished reading her story Dreams of the Queen

I might just hold you to that, because heavens know I wouldn't know. Actually it has an even more simalar beginning because it begins with a dream as well...just of a rather different sort. XD Cass dreamed of a "place", Tyson on the other hand dreamed of a voice. A voice he knows very little about other then that it belonged to a girl. The reason it started so "simlar" there was because I took a section at random, so you didn't see Tyson debate going to "The Hospital" (where "Angel" actually should be XD) and the Radiation Wards, which is were she is.

I told you before this story, while being science fiction (if I recall right) also seems to be veering in towards religion and "magic" so it'll be interesting how all the elements interact...especally since there is much much more to Angel.

Similar beginning aside and underground aside, the rest sounds different. And I must say, I'm incredibly flattered to have been a part of your inspiration. That is worth its weight in gold, my friend. All artists want to leave some sort of impact, so woohoo!

It's fun to mix differing philosophies, so what floats to the top.

Sure, I'll beta for you. Can't promise how often I'll be able to commit every week, but on a monthly basis I should be able to get some work done. I don't know how in-depth you'd want or need besides the medical/science. I'll leave that up to you.

I understand, you have Nightmare's to deal with after all and you have an actual...what's the word? Oh yeah, a real life beyond the computer. XD

For now just helping me with medical/sciencey is enough, though if you see something grammically wrong (and you will run into them, most of my english spelling/grammer is self-taught otherwise I would still be at fifth-grade level I kid you not, and low fifth grade level at that XD) go ahead and correct it, just be sure to point it out to me so I can try and learn from it and avoid it in the future. ^_^

LOL, I have more than just Nightmares, I have about 5 OS I'm in the middle of plus my two fanfic and a job and a husband but no kids (can't have any)

But... I enjoy editing as much as I do writing (freak, I know)

I also like helping others (duh, medic here) and being a beta helps keep me in practice. Editing for others and self editing is one of the best ways to improve writing skills. So it's partially selfish. :o)

I'm just warning you that if you send me 2000 words a week, I probably won't be getting them back to you every week but I'll be as fast as I can.

Plus, when I edit I do line editing in office words with the comment/highlight feature, so I explain what and why. But that doesn't mean--

1) I'm always right (very human here and I wrong too)
2) we can't agree to disagree on certain things
3) style is subjective and I do my best to avoid altering yours
4) editing a manuscript is a joint project

Well, of course. As you said, you are human. And woman, I'm not sure I can even write 2000 words a week (I looked, that would be a little over a page as I write in Verdana 6. XD) I have a very spordic writing style sometimes and I almost never write in a straight line! XD So I may send you odd things that may or may not go into the story but that I need for whatever reason. XD

And don't worry, you'll probably be re-editing things that I've sent back to you with my own edits (either in the story or after editing your edits XD).
