The Wrong English

Nov 26, 2012 06:46

Just thought I'd share something interesting. Ya see, Jinx1764 is being nice and helping me and she sent me a part of a chapter back edited (Which I really do appreciate Jinx) but at the time I didn't look at/read all the notes. She wrote a ton of them. XD *sigh* Such a sad cruel world ( Read more... )

Yeah, looking at them both side-by-side I'd go with dreamt, but I am in the UK. ;)

Biased much? I think I will too, even if it mixes my english's but last I checked...they are the same language...technically. XD

Seriously, I don't really have a problem with either. But yeah dreamt seems right. Just go with your gut. :)

Didn't say you did. Just said you were biased, like parents will always say their children are lovely, even if they arn't. *snicker* I am too. I think the British are mad for all those unneeded extra u's in words. XD What are ya, the French, who use more letters then they say? XD Just so you know, I am teasing. But the extra u's are crazy. XD

I'm not saying it's a BAD thing, to leave all those notes. Because you do make things clear. But until you'd mentioned it I've never heard of dreamed (or leaped XD) so I found it funny. Not an arguement (trust me, if I find something to debate you'll know it) but simply humorous so I thought I'd share. ^_^

:) I enjoy the differences, and try to make use of them when it fits.
