Nothing disgusting about calling it what it is... Unlike "Bubble & Squeak" <-- what the heck is that? There *is* "Steak & Kidney Pie" ,-- I thought the "kidney" part referred to kidney beans - nope, it is actual kidney! ew. And "Black Pudding"... which is completely disgusting ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Pudding ). So I think calling something "Root & Fungus" is actually quite appealing LOL

At least "Shepherd's Pie" doesn't contain real shepherds though. :P
