What Tyra said to Landry's dad is a valid reason for them to have actually gotten together with out the dumping the body & manslaughter storyline.

That was such a nice moment between Tyra and Landry's dad, and hearing her say those things just makes the whole murder storyline that much more difficult, because I think Tyra would have realized all this without Landry killing the rapist. I get that they're going with the high intensity emotions bonding them, but I think it would have been even nicer with a slow buildup with Tyra realizing she deserves a good guy like Landry. Oh Landry/Tyra, I will love you no matter what.

Also, this was good FNL tonight!

ITA. The thing is there was a very intense emotional thing between them after the attempted rape. It would have been completely plausible for us to have come back to the new season with them together.

Oy for the drama.

But I did love this episode.

Can't comment on FNL as I've never actually seen it, but just wanted to say hi *waves* as I'd not 'seen' you around on LJ for ages *big hugs*

Hope all is well with you *goes away and stops bothering the poor woman!*

GEM! Hey, girl! Have you seen the prequels, or whatever the heck they're calling them, to Razor?

Hi!

Have you seen the prequels, or whatever the heck they're calling them, to Razor?

I saw the first one (at least I think it was the first one), as they had it up on a site I look at, but I've not seen the others to be honest. I guess I should see if someone has put them on YouTube or something. I can't see them on the sci-fi site as they are geo-locked or something *grumbles*

To be honest though, I'm not that excited about the whole thing (though even a glimpse of a storyline for Lee will be a nice change!). Maybe I'll feel differently about the thing once it's on...who knows!

CHRISTINE!! Hey!

That makes me quite happy, as you probably knew it would. The dvds are extremely cheap, under 20 bucks @ Walmartand I know they did have, though I can't find them on their website, each 1/2 season for around 10 bucks for some time. Not sure if they do anymore.

But, it's so good. The first season is one of those perfect things that if they completely frell up the rest of the series it will still be absolutely perfect.

Hope you're doing well. Are you back in Denver experiencing World Series mania? *sniff* poor Logan. Stupid Rory!

Actually, I'm in Italy missing the World Series mania.

Ahhh, I did know this! Florence, Milan, is that correct? I remember not Rome and somewhere north.

I must say that the pilot was very Varsity Blues only... better.

HAHA! I think the show is a lot better than the movie FNL which is better than VB itself. I think the focus on the people/town, not just football, really improves everything. And the cameras stop jiggling quite as much as the season progresses. Wind Sprints, ep 1.03 is a good ep, has many things I love. Coach being a hard ass, Tim wallowing in guilt, Buddy scheming, all good things!

I'm glad you're enjoying the show. It's a very good show whether you like football or not.
