I'll never understand why they are making remakes of shows starring kick-ass women and then cast women who are devoid or charme or good looks as the lead. I don't want some dumb bimbo to star either but both the original Sarah Conner and the original Bionic Woman were attractive in a not over the top kind of way.
Their 2000s counterparts are just weird. They seem neither the type to appeal to a male fanbase, not the type to appeal to a female fanbase. It's not that they are ugly, it really is mostly the lack of charme factor.
I don't think MR is ugly, though she's not drop dead gorgeous, or anything. She just can't act, and is blah on screen. Which makes revolving a show around her character rather difficult.
The new love interest for Addison is going to be David Sutcliffe. No idea when he's going to make his first appearance on the show though, as I don't watch it.
David Sutcliffe (aka Christopher Hayden) is, I believe, the new love interest for Addison. I have the same feelings about Private Practice. I adore Kate Walsh and Tim Daly so I'm sticking around but I'm still waiting for the show to really pull me in.
