So, I've lost like 35 lbs. since Labor Day, beginning of Sept for those that don't know, which is great in general. The downside is this is requiring me to replace clothes, well really it's a plus, smaller sizes, but as my forays into sewing amounted to me sewing the tip of my finger when I was about 8, I have to get all my pants hemmed that I can ( Read more... )

Yay you for losing all that weight! *claps* I need to lose some, but me and gyms don't mix (tried that option) and I need my comfort food!!! So I'm not sure how I'll manage it! Ah well...

Thanks, Gem. It's really not that hard, and I don't go to a gym. As I told Becky, 51.5 lbs and counting as of last Wednesday.

BTW, I LOVE your icon.

51.5 - that's brilliant!! Well done you.

Thanks! It's by lostonbroadway. And is that Luna I see in your's? I did wonder how Luna would come across in the movies but the young girl playing her has done a brilliant job and made Luna such a warm character (not that she wasn't from the books, but you know what I mean)

Yes, ma'am, that's Miss Luna Lovegood. I adore Luna. I'm not crazy about the movies, but I did think the casting of her was absolutely perfect.

Congrats on the weight loss Laura!

And go you with the sewing machine; that is one skill that I should have picked up earlier in life from my mom, that I need to.

And I know you haven't posted comments about tonight's FNL, yet, but I had to share my play by play of some of Smash's scenes tonight. You'll know which one by this: "Run Smash run!" "Oh, don't let him catch you on the stairs" "Run Smash run!" "Don't get injured jumping over the fence!" "Okay, you're good!" "Run Smash run!" Hee! And so wonderful calling Matty to pick you up.

I seriously want my own Tim Riggins for Christmas.

Thanks, Becky! I apparently underestimated, as of last Wednesday, it is now, 51.5 lbs. I'm THRILLED.

And go you with the sewing machine; that is one skill that I should have picked up earlier in life from my mom, that I need to.

I know the feeling. My youthful adventures in sewing begin & end with sewing my own finger. Heh.

And so wonderful calling Matty to pick you up.

That was awesome. Very funny, and the beginning of seeing the two of them back together, which I really like. Sorry I haven't commented in a couple of eps, I'm been super busy.

I seriously want my own Tim Riggins for Christmas.

HAHA! I would so give him to you if I could. When the strike is over, fingers crossed they come back for either the rest of S2 or a S3, you totally should come to Austin when filming is going on, we could totally find Taylor. It's not that hard to find their filming locations. Or even head out to Travis where he spends a lot of his down time.
