..I joined hp_lotr_potc and it said that to post, I need posting access and I was apparently supposed to contact you or someone-else-whose-name-I-can't-at-this-moment about it. Could you please give me posting access?

You don't need posting access. Only the Mods do. All you have to worry about is putting everything in the comments. But right now, the community is on Hiatus. I still have to put up a message there. I'm holding everything off until the summer, when everyone has more time for this kind of stuff.
