EEEEEE YULETIDE! It’s my favorite time of year, no joke.
I just want to start off by saying thank you so much for taking time out of your busy holiday schedule to write something for me. Seriously, words can’t express how grateful I am that you’re doing this for me. I don’t want to bog you down with a lot of stuff either, no matter what you write for me? I’ll love it, and be not-so-patiently waiting to open it on Christmas.
In terms of likes and dislikes, or what have you, I’m pretty easy. I would prefer no major character death (unless it’s canon to the source material), no BDSM (handcuffs/scarves are cool, but it’s not something I really want in my fiction this year), no bathroom play (it’s a major squick of mine, watersports is okay, but I’d prefer it to be left out entirely if that’s cool), and no D/s relationships since it’s not really my thing. That’s it! Seriously, if you want to write bloodplay, breathplay, gunplay or what have you? Go for it! I like the feels that come along from reading a good piece of fiction; angst, HEA or HFN, fluff, smut, PWP all rock my socks and so does Gen! If you really aren’t into writing sex out, don’t! I don’t want you to feel uncomfortable at all Mystery Author. Fade to black if it’s your thing. I’m totally cool with that.
I like pairings of all shapes and sizes; het, slash, femmeslash, it doesn’t matter to me. As I stated before I’m happy with any rating from G to Mature. You won’t go wrong Mystery Author, I know you won’t.
Sara’s Song - Fern Michaels
Adam Lord/Dallas Lord/Sara Killian
The dynamic between these three characters has always fascinated me. I love all of them. I love Sara with Dallas or Adam, but if you’re really feeling ambitious I would love a threesome fic between the two of them, and I’m completely fine with incest as well between Adam and Dallas. I’d love something set post-book after Dallas and Sara ran off to Vegas to get married, and they come back to pick out a pup from Izzie’s litter. Really though, I’d be happy with any combination of the characters, Adam/Dallas, Dallas/Sara, Adam/Sara so if you have something else you’d like to write with them? Go for it.

Adam by far is my favorite character in this movie, and no it’s not because Alex Pettyfer played him (not at all! >_>). I think that Adam is a more complex character than anyone in the movie, or anyone really, gives him credit for. He’s fucked up in a delicious way, he’s a kid that makes terrible life choices, and yet he’s still loveable to me. I’m good with something set post or pre movie, to be perfectly honest, and any pairing with Adam - if you’re so inclined to pair him off with someone post-movie - is fine with me. If you go pre-movie here are some ideas: We learn that he was kicked out of school because he got into a fight with the football coach, what lead to that fight? How did he break the news to Brooke and how did things work out at the college that he was attending? If you choose post-movie: How are things different in Miami than they were in Tampa? Does Adam grow up any after the whole incident with Mike paying off his debt; does he ever even thank Mike for helping him out? There was also talk about a road trip for the second movie, does Adam go with?
Four Brothers
Jack Mercer
All of the Brothers are awesome, but Jack just happens to be my favorite. I’d love something focused on him while he was out touring and just being a rockstar. Perhaps even a first time fic with another man while he’s out touring, or just you know, general shenanigans and the hazards of being a rocker would be fun too! I’m cool with any of the other brothers making appearances Bobby, Angel and Jeremiah are all ace in my book. The brotherly love that they all have for one another makes me smile. Even though it’s not incest I would prefer no romantic pairings between any of them if possible.
Futurama
Philip J. Fry/Turanga Leela
I adore them. I love how Leela is such a strong female character, and Fry is just this hopeless guy who got tossed into the future by strange circumstances. They’re fun characters to me and I do just love them. Honestly, I don’t have a lot that I want in terms of fic for these two, so I’d be happy with anything with these two. Some ideas though? A delivery gone wrong, general antics at Planet Express or a romantic night in that doesn’t go quite as Fry or Leela has planned.
Biohazard | Resident Evil (Gameverse)
Helena Harper/Leon S. Kennedy
RE6 happens to be one of my favorite games out there, and Helena and Leon work so well together as partners within the verse. I’d love something set post-campaign after the last cut scene where Helena tells Leon to go after Ada. Perhaps some sort of new bio-terrorism threat to delay Leon in finding Ada, and in which he and Helena team back up to fight the infected again. I’m fine with including any of the other characters within the verse too, since I think they’re all fabulous and if you’re so inclined to do so that would be fantastic. Really I’d just like bio-terrorism fighting and zombies, and nothing too shippy with these two characters.
The Following
Claire Matthews/Ryan Hardy
I love the fact that Ryan has carried this torch for Claire since their breakup, and there are so many feels involved with this pairing for me. I adore them. I’m good with whatever in regards to them, honest! Ideas though: something set pre-show while they’re together the first time, a missing scene during the show after the two of them reconnect, Claire dealing with her feelings for Ryan after Joe has been imprisoned.
So that’s it, Mystery Author! I’m excited for whatever you give me, and trust, optional details really are optional. I’m excited to see what you come up with, even if it’s nothing that I’ve listed out here. I just want you to enjoy writing it, because I sure will appreciate reading what you write. Thank you, again, for taking the time to write this for me and I hope that you have a very happy Yuletide yourself!
