Thanks, Liam - that's really great advice, actually, and that's what I prayed before I went in. I made it through successfully - whether it be luck or talent, I don't know, and at this point it doesn't matter! But I appreciate the well-wishing. . . it feels good to be done!

Thanks, Jenn! I passed, so I'm feeling pretty good. I must say, though, that, while I'm happy to be almost done, after my comps when we were all shaking hands my professors said that they were going to miss me and that they want me to come back to do my PhD there, and I got sort of choked up and teary eyed. I'm going to miss academia, and I'm going to miss Notre Dame and all the wonderful professors I've had here. I'm glad it went by fast for the most part, but I think it went by a little too fast! :)
