Poor guy.

As silly as it sounds, I have to applaud the guy, especially given that most people would probably turn a deaf ear if they heard a woman screaming for help (Kitty Genovese being a prime example). And if there had been a woman being hurt, far from being arrested this guy would be hailed as a hero

Oh, poor guy. He was doing the right thing! Hopefully the charges get dropped or the jury sees that this is one of the good guys.
