YES!! I both volunteer and donate money to several causes for different reasons.

The first and foremost, I should say, is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Why? My cousin and the daughter of my former science teacher, for whom I actually was inspired to write a song about (before I knew she had the disease) both have Cystic Fibrosis, a genetic ( Read more... )

Out of three children, my Great Aunt had two die from CF. I'm glad they do so well with the money they get.

I am so sorry to hear that. My sympathies to you and your Great Aunt. I'm rather close with my own Great Aunt. Her daughter is my Godmother, and I wouldn't have it any other way. It is great about how well the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation does with their donations. They've truly made a difference with donation money to benefit people and families affected by CF. I mean...going from life expectancy of 13 years to 37? It took several decades to get there...but what an improvement ( ... )
