I always have hated having my picture made because it hardly ever comes out making me look really good. The exceptions to this rule are when my dad takes my picture and my wedding photos -- which came out surprisingly well

I totally sympathize.

I recently had a pro photographer friend who offered to take a head shot of me after I complained about being unable to take a good picture pretty much concede that I was right. :(

:shakes her head: And the sad thing is that everyone else in the office took great pictures. They really looked lovely. For contrast, we had several with my eyes closed. One made me look like I was dead.

I can't do cheerful pictures when I don't know the photographer. I can give you serious and that's about it. :(
