I am the prophet... Chuck.

I don't normally watch Supernatural, but the episode entitled "The Monster at the End of the Book" about killed me. It was hilariously funny and kind of poignant as well. The parts of it dealing with free will and the interpretation of prophecy were very interesting. On an amusing note, apparently Dean was born two days after me in some year of ( Read more... )

Oh, my God. You ask the best questions!

Right now, out of all of my characters, I want G and Retsuko to come over for tea and deep conversation. (I would also love to go shopping with Nami!)

But of other people's fictional characters, I would really love to meet Thursday Next, Ananaka Fishbein and Kiki Strike, Percy Jackson and his friends, Harry & Hermione (and the entire Weasley clan, although that could get a little crazy!), Thessaly the witch from the _Sandman_ comics, the characters from "Crouching Tiger", etc. etc. The list goes on and on!

(BTW, can't wait to get back to writing for summerwrimo, I have a ton of plans!)

If you get G and Retsuko to come over, I'm so flying out there. ;D I too would like to shop with Nami, and perhaps meet Mr. X -- from an appropriate distance.

I'm now imagining the entire Weasley clan in your old apartment which has provided a much needed laugh. :D

And squee! for summerwrimo plans. I've gotten my piece for this week started, but it's not in there yet... still some writing to do on it. I'm hoping I can get it done between my brother's trip in today and Saturday night. Perhaps while I'm baking that dratted cheesecake pie thingie I can do the typing... because that would be near the oven. :D

Mr. X would be interested in meeting you, too, but only if it served his purposes to do so. ;)

You know that shopping with Nami would turn into a huge spending bill with some truly amazing outfits to show for the effort. (That reminds me, I have to write more with her. A one-shot would be nice, especially considering all that's happened to her in the game lately...)

Ooo... cheesecake. Sounds gooooood. :) And I can't wait to read what's up! I'm waiting to catch up on your other work until I get back to my own computer; parents' laptop is only somewhat reliable.

And as Mr. X's purposes are generally nefarious or just plain twisted, I might need to stay away... oh, the circularity! (Hey, it may not be a word, but it *sounds* like a word this morning.)

The spending bill would be taken care of by... umm... a credit card! That's the ticket! A credit card which I was lent by someone else specifically for that purpose and belonging to a rich person who could pay it off! ;)

I'm hoping it turns out all right. I've not tried this particular recipe before, but anything with this much neufchatel cheese in it has to be somewhat good. ;) If not, well -- it's got chocolate in it so the dog can't have it -- but someone will want it.

It's not the best ever, I think that I got those parts up shortly before you left, but I'm trying to get my threads tied up for a climax soon. :)

That episode was totally adorable, and I insisted on showing all my pals the clip where Sam and Dean discover slash. YAY FOURTH WALL BREAKAGE.

That was great. S was laughing at that and he doesn't do fanfiction or get into internet discussions of that sort. ;D
