So I bought some what I thought were magnificent pirate boots. I paid A LOT of money for them, but at the time did not feel guilty. Then I kind of thought about it and was like, "yeah, but I didn't travel anywhere this month. So I can swing the shoe money."

They are neither pirate nor cowboy but the boots worn by airship pirates in the Old West.

Love the boots...Don't take them back! They are a modern cowgirl, slouchy style..No pirate would have this much feminity. Keep them, you make the money back.

I meant to say: You'll make the money back. Oh, and sometimes it brings comfort to be able to think about things that "shouldn't matter much"
