And, studying horribly long hours doesn't preclude dating. It really doesn't. It just means a finer sieve, which is usually a good thing since the people, few as they are, are bound to be more interesting. :3
Let me tell you, you are crazy for the English minor, lol. I'm an English major, I would know. That will likely eat up the most of your time. Expect lots of papers, and I mean A LOT. There are weeks when I have a paper due basically every other day. However, the good thing about English is you don't typically have tests, and when you have breaks between papers, it's a rather large reprieve. You'll likely have reading to do, but I promise it's not absolutely awful. I'm not trying to discourage, just warn.
However, 5-6 classes is not terrible. I had 6 classes last semester, and 5 this semester. I still manage free time some days, lol. It just depends on how much honework your teachers want to give. As I said, English is going to be tough, be prepared for late nights with that, but lots of classes isn't awful. I almost prefer having more classes (maybe I'm crazy?).
I'm also going for a double minor (sociology and theatre), so I feel your pain <3 However, I have faith you'll manage. Some days will be struggles, but others won't. I don't
