Okay, since I am now in a much better mood and also the muses in charge of my current WIP are evading me...

The first ten people to comment in this post get to request that I write a drabble of any pairing/character of their choosing.

Duh, Bradley and Colin.

Few sounds filtered in through the rush of blood in Bradley’s ears. The loudest was the most delightful, welcome vibration of Colin’s voice, gasping agreement, encouragement of Bradley’s efforts. A sound that was very nearly laughter escaped through Colin’s gritted teeth and a dull thump was one hand distorting a sofa cushion with violent reaction. There was a coarse, scraping sound that Bradley knew he recognised from somewhere, but that was less important

Oh, aahahaha!! Ah shit, that's just cruel! I was feeling all after-glowy (sure that's a word) and then bradley's mom had to come in... 'Do you kiss your mother with that mouth' suddenly got a whole specific meaning here! *snorts*

LOL, that phrase was totally where this fic came from, I just couldn't work out a way to get it in without making it sound awkward! ;)

“Do you believe in coincidences?”

The bespectacled boy backs up from the imposing woman until there’s no more back, and falls heavily into the chair that is, fortunately, conveniently at his rear.

“I wasn’t following you,” he swears fervently. “I promise.”

“I know, kid,” she replies, flicking her long hair over her shoulder and coming to stand above him. “ACME’s guys aren’t usually so… conspicuous.”

He actually balks a little at that.

“I’m actually rather well known for my stealth,” he claims, his chin jutting out in pride.

“Come on, Harry Potter,” she says, picking at the fibres of his hat. “You couldn’t blend in a washing machine.”

“I’m well travelled and adept at adapting to local culture,” he pouts sulkily.

He’s more than a tad surprised when the stranger lowers herself into his lap, bringing her rather ample bosom right into his eyeline.

“Tell me, kid,” she purrs. “Ever been to the Virgin Islands?”

Zach must have been staring at various parts of Chris’s anatomy for twenty minutes. It doesn’t bother Chris at all, as long as he’s allowed to continue watching his show uninterrupted, while Zach carefully and methodically examines various parts of him. He’s spent almost five minutes turning Chris’s hand over in his own, stroking his fingertips to illicit ticklish twitches and studying his palm as if the lines might tell Zach the future. Chris doesn’t even flinch
