Arms are tired

Just returned from Louisiana and Siggraph, last day of the trip I got sick and the flight home I had a fever. Was 101.6 until yesterday when I went to the doctor and she told me I had tonsillitis. Wonderful, but apparently my insurance is still active even though I thought it had run out in June. Hooray for small miracles

I'm glad you had a good time though. Gulf coast humidity can be brutal if you're not used to it. It skipped my mind to warn you about it. We have an Aquarium here in Houston (had my b-day and graduation dinners there back in the day), and there's a Riverwalk in San Antonio as well. I hope the region made a good impression on you overall, and that the hour or so you spent in Texas made an especially good impression. ;)

besides the unavoidable delays at the Dallas airport Texas was very nice, and I really liked Louisiana, I really can't wait until I have another opportunity to go that direction and visit you. :)

Actually, I almost had the opportunity to go that direction and visit you. Some of my extended family members wanted to go gambling across the boarder last Saturday, to the river boats at Lake Charles. They cancelled the trip at the last though.
