I seriously need to get a Mac laptop. What is the likelihood of finding a good refurbished one and anyone here have any good suggestions for where to look?

Right now I have a great one for $900 but I'm willing to sell it to somebody for all the money plus shipping and fees instead of to my tenant in half measures (she is willing to pay half now and half later). It is in perfect condition minus one cosmetic dent in the corner. I'm only selling it due to need and not due to quality. If I could afford to keep it I would.
So say $1000 and we'll deliver it to you if you're either in SoCal or Texas -- both places we have to go anyway.
Apple is also having a good refurbished sale from what I understand.

Sorry it took so long to respond, less & less time for LJ these days... Thanx for the offer, unfortunately I don't have the dough at the moment... Hope all is well with you, I don't have any time to read through my friends list these days.

I would like to point out that apple hardware is not very reliable, and applecare is your friend.
If you want a refurbed apple with applecare, you can get them from apple.
I'm not sure if the following link will work, so if you go to store.apple.com on the lower left hand side, off the bottom of the screen is the link to "Refurbished Mac" under "Special Deals"
