Yes that is what I was trying to convey with Reita and Ruki, passion and love, but they are still guys after all so I didn't want to make it quite so vanilla.

And yes I know your aversion to Ruka, but I do hope you will read through the next chapter for the story progression mostly. Also, you know I adore Kai, so I have some interesting ideas for him ;)
