To reiterate what I've written earlier, this is a wonderful, promising start to the entire series. Right from the first line itself you clearly made the reader feel the icy-cold hostility between Aoi and Uruha post-breaking up, but moreso showing us that beneath the exterior, they still do dearly love each other (too hurt to express it anymore?). Love Reita as the fulcrum between the ex-lovers, and come to think about it I think the inclusion of another pairing provided a nice contrast - in the context of this fic, it made the tension between Aoi and Uruha more stark than otherwise would be (eg if there's no other pairings in the fic).

I thought the moment with Kai being fierce-scary band leader was full of LOL because I could almost imagine him storming in going "WTF IS THIS SHIT!". HAHAHAHA.

And yes it is a case of two of them just not being able to get their act together. Whether it is Aoi just letting go or Uruha being stubborn about it. And yes I loved Reita as well, he always strikes me as one of the most grounded of the 5 (despite that bird....I can't get over the bird).

Well although Aoi n Uru's story runs through, the chapters are supposed to focus (at least sexually) on the other two couples. But like you said, it is also there to serve as a counterpoint.

LOL now I have this image of Kai in my head really smacking them and saying "What is this shizznit????" ROFL
