I'm feeling much more tired today than I was at any time during the Challenge itself, which is odd - and also rather flat, which is less so. But, I do want to write up the remaining books read before running out of steam altogether. Yup - although I give a free pass to King of Shadows and its Important Person saving (even more annoying) just because it's so moving.

It's not going to be up there on my best of 2011 list, but I did enjoy it. I'll keep an eye on your GR shelf to see what you think if you do try it. I also wonder whether they've made a lot of changes in the US version.

Me too! I can't understand thinking that kids are too stupid to figure out for example, that a mobile's a cell phone when a character is trying to make a phone call on it! Very irritating.
