I am also resolved to sleep better the night before. Congratulations on finishing!

Maybe if enough of us make that resolution, we can get the universe to allow us to do it?? Congrats to you too!

I did make sure I went into the challenge well rested, and it helped. And don't you hate it when real life interferes with reading? Hope the leak is not too bad! Congratulations!

Being well rested going into the challenge is very important! Given being tired, that's a particularly impressive total amount of time. I need to go back and compare mine to last year - though I'm pretty sure I read more this year.

I am already thinking about next year, too.

I *thought* I'd read more this year, but it may be just because I had a new audiobook all ready, so I wasn't doing all the tooth-brushing, dish-washing, etc, one-handed with a book. :) I was aiming for closer to 35, but that would only have happened with worse headache and no reading pleasure at all.

I'm going to have to train for next year.

Yes, it's from the Santa Maria Maior Cathedral in Lisbon, and a friend (generalblossomtook the picture for me! This was a good few years ago, but some of the pictures are still on her Flickr account. I'd love to go myself sometime.
