well I have now joined a dating agency that runs group dinners 'dinnerat8', so in 2 or 3 dinners I might have a dinner to go to. I hope they're not all way older than me, but my logic is as least they could be a friend

But 'tis your house of wonderful plumbing and stumps and garden and plans and so on. But then no wonder you want space after that teeny tiny room.
I think I get the soul meaning thing, even when this whole student teacher thing is a bitch I can't help but thinking even when teaching doesn't feel that great there is the fact that you are (or for me, will be) contributing...or something like that.
