Oh, eep - I hear you on the difficulty of being vegetarian/pescatarian! My husband and I cook all vegetarian at home, with the exception of fish maybe twice a week, but once you get out in the real world, most other people don't eat either a) vegetarian dishes or b) fish. Almost no one I know likes fish; they all wrinkle their noses and go ew. And although I feel guilty about the mounting environmental issues surrounding fish depletion, etc., I just...really love fish and think I'd be hard pressed to give it up.

I adore fish, primarily salmon.
I try to eat less of it due to sustainability issues but I'm not willing to give it up completely.
I would to complain but I don't want to end up sounding like one of those militant vegetarians who are like "OMIGOD YOU HORRIBLE PERSON THE WORLD IS GOING TO DIE BECAUSE OF YOU!!"
I'm vegetarian because I'm genetically predisposed for a multitude of conditions that can be prevented via diet (like diabetes, heart disease, etc) which is why parents became vegetarian before they had me and just passed it on. -_-

I find eating fish and vegetables useful due to my odd collection of food sensitivities - I can't digest red meat properly, and a weird collection of other things upset my digestive system to a significant degree: hazelnuts, potatoes, egg yolk, blackcurrant, etc. Once you've got a system that's working for you, why ditch it? :)

Practicality, FTW.
But no potatoes!?!? T_T<---loves potatoes.
I'm very acquainted with food sensitivites. Two of my siblings have either celiac or a gluten sensitivity (technically, I have mild version...-_-) and I was vegan for 15 years solely due to the fact that I could not eat milk or eggs or I would have the joy of experiences anaphylactic shock. On the bright side, I was the only 5 year old who knew how to spell "anaphylactic". XD
