Went back to my city (aka Yellow Springs) a couple days ago. Got to see the inside of a screenprinting studio in this awesome shop some guy had opened up, and lemme tell you: screenprint machines? Are freaking cool. I ended up buying three pieces of his stuff; I rarely buy shirts, and these were so original (and CHEAP) I could barely resist. ( Read more... )

^^;; Yes indeed. Ari and I went boot-hunting on ebay last night... you'd be surprised at how many I-No-ish boots are out there... (and how very pricey they are ;_;)

*Laugh* The filk actually started when we were discussing Disney sequels and their lame cardboard villains. Sometimes, we agreed, the motivations that writers come up with are so slapdash and so...utterly lame that it would almost seem better to leave the character Pure Evil. Therefore, we're filking "Poor Unfortunate Souls" as a contemporary cartoon villain instructing her young pupil on how one can rationalize anything if one has motivation.

Hurray indeed. I need to do more. "I've been writing again" means "I've managed a page without losing my flow..."

The black is primarily Rachel's, although I will be using accents cut from it, I think (I have some better fabric at home for what I was initially going to bum Rachel's for). The rings, however, are all mine.
