Aw don't worry hon, I kind of get how you feel too, though computer truble can get me riled far more quickly, generally I'm a bottler too, then it's just a case of the 'straw' that breaks the camels back- and I may blow up over something which seems to be little.
IDK about advice- maybe you could discuss with your family the issue over why you are not happy wth whatever it is they are doing? Writing a list about what it is can help too (it's just easier to talk after you've written out/have some clue what to say).
I can't argue a debate face to face for instance, I cannot argue a point like that very well, but writing it out first can help me a little sometimes.
Sorry, I reread, I missed the part about it being a blood relation who said it. (I did get a bit confused over the whole keeping relations happy, now it makes more sense)
That's an awful thing for them to say. -hugs-
A break from this person will probably be healthy.
thank you for caring :hugs: sorry i confused you, i wasn't really thinking clearly when i wrote it. unfortunately i can't take a break since they 'live' with me. but it's okay, i'm not going to let anyone spoil this, its our day to celebrate our love. not HER DAY and for once it will not be about her. i told her as much. she is not welcome at my engagement. as for the insults i guess it's what ppl resort to when they know they are losing an argument.
thank you for replying, it's nice to know there are people who understand how i feel. what hurts is that she is someone who is supposed to be very close to me. she talks about how God will judge but she forgets that it goes both ways. the name calling just shows that she knew she had lost the argument. :shrugs: making trouble is what she does at every occasion when things dont go her way. i'm just not taking it anymore. thank you, i will go out of my way to make this day enjoyable for my xav and the family that do want to be there! <3
